Statement of Orthodoxy
Last reviewed: May 11, 2026. AnchoredTime™, operated by Anchorful, LLC.
AnchoredTime exists to help Christians walk closer with Jesus, daily. This statement describes what we believe. It is the theological foundation under everything we build.
We are non-denominational and non-sectarian. We are not aligned with any particular church tradition, denomination, or theological stream beyond the core of the historic Christian faith. If you walk with Jesus and hold to Scripture as the word of God, AnchoredTime is built for you.
1. Jesus Christ
We affirm the full deity and full humanity of Jesus Christ. He is the Son of God, fully God and fully man, born of the Virgin Mary, crucified for our sin, raised bodily from the dead, and seated at the right hand of the Father. He is Lord over all.
There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. AnchoredTime is built around Jesus specifically. Not a generic deity. Not a spiritual framework. Jesus.
2. The Authority of Scripture
We affirm that the Bible is the inspired, authoritative word of God. It is the source of truth by which all Christian teaching, practice, and life should be measured. We hold to the inerrancy of Scripture in its original manuscripts, consistent with the broad evangelical tradition.
Every feature in AnchoredTime that touches Bible content is built to serve the text as it is, not to reframe, diminish, or supplement it. Scripture speaks for itself. Our job is to help you read it, sit with it, and let it shape your walk with Jesus.
3. Salvation by Grace Through Faith
We affirm that salvation comes by grace alone, through faith alone, in Jesus Christ alone. No streak in AnchoredTime earns favor with God. No daily practice, Anchor completion, or journal entry makes you right with Him. Jesus does. What we are helping you build is a daily walk with the Jesus who has already saved you.
4. The Historic Christian Faith
We affirm the core theological commitments held by Christians across traditions since the first century: the Trinity, the bodily resurrection, the physical return of Christ, and the final judgment. The Apostles Creed and the Nicene Creed give these commitments their classic shape. We stand within that long line.
5. Non-Denominational, Non-Sectarian
AnchoredTime does not align with any denomination, theological tradition, or stream beyond the affirmations above. We are not Reformed, Arminian, Charismatic, Cessationist, Baptist, Anglican, or any other label. We are for any Christian who believes Jesus is Lord and that Scripture is true.
On secondary and tertiary theological questions where Bible-believing Christians disagree, AnchoredTime takes no position. We will not push you toward any tradition. We will push you toward Jesus.
6. A Tool, Not a Guide or a Church
AnchoredTime is a tool to support your daily walk with Jesus. It is not a spiritual director, a guide, a formula, or a system of formation. It is not the local body of believers. It will never replace your church, your pastor, or the community God placed around you.
What AnchoredTime does is help you show up to prayer, Scripture, and reflection day after day, so that when you gather with other believers, you arrive having walked with Jesus in between. The app supports the life. It does not define it.
7. Bible Content and Partner Alignment
AnchoredTime integrates Bible text provided by licensed partners including the American Bible Society (ABS) and Biblica. Our use of their content is governed by their respective licensing agreements and Acceptable Use policies. We affirm that our theological commitments are consistent with those policies and with the statements of orthodoxy those organizations uphold, including the Apostles Creed.
If any content produced through AnchoredTime is found to contradict orthodox Christian teaching, we are committed to correcting it. Theological integrity is not a marketing position. It is a commitment.
