Terms of Service

Effective: May 6, 2026 - AnchoredTime™, operated by Anchorful, LLC

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using AnchoredTime™ (the “Service”), available at https://anchoredtime.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service is operated by Anchorful, LLC (“Anchorful,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age (or 16 in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. Users under the applicable minimum age are prohibited.

3. Your Account

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

4.1 Free and Paid Tiers

The Service is offered on a free tier and one or more paid subscription tiers. Features available on each tier are described on our pricing page. We reserve the right to change tier features with reasonable notice.

4.2 Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annual, depending on your selection). Payment is processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

4.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Settings page or by contacting us at support@anchoredtime.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to paid features through the end of the period you have paid for.

4.4 Refunds

We offer a 14-day refund window for new paid subscriptions. If you are not satisfied within 14 days of your first paid billing, contact us and we will issue a full refund. After 14 days, subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

4.5 Price Changes

We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days’ notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing period. Continued use after the change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.

5. Content Ownership

5.1 Your Content

You own your content. Everything you create in AnchoredTime - prayer entries, journal entries, Daily Anchors, Scripture notes, Anchored Reset sessions, and any other content you submit - belongs to you. We claim no ownership over your personal content.

5.2 License to Operate the Service

By using the Service, you grant Anchorful a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, and display your content solely as necessary to provide the Service to you. This license ends when you delete your content or your account.

5.3 Our Content

The AnchoredTime name, logos, Anchorful Pillars framework, Grounded Response™ methodology, Minimum Faithful Dose™ methodology, Anchored Reset™ name and methodology, and all software, design, and product copy are the intellectual property of Anchorful, LLC. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute them without our written permission.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable law
  • Upload, transmit, or distribute content that is harmful, defamatory, obscene, or infringes on third-party rights
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, other users' accounts, or the underlying infrastructure
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access or extract data from the Service
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
  • Resell, sublicense, or make the Service available to third parties without our written consent
  • Use the Service in a way that could damage, disable, or impair it

7. Theological Content Disclaimer

AnchoredTime is a tool for personal spiritual practice. It is not a substitute for pastoral care, professional counseling, or spiritual direction from a qualified pastor or minister.

AI-generated content within the Service (coaching suggestions, prayer prompts, devotional insights) is intended as a starting point for reflection. It is not authoritative theological instruction, and it may contain errors or oversimplifications. You are responsible for evaluating all AI-generated content against Scripture and seeking pastoral guidance where appropriate.

We hold a broadly evangelical Christian worldview, but we are not affiliated with any denomination. Content within the Service reflects this perspective and may not align with every Christian tradition.

8. Health and Wellness Disclaimer

The Anchored Reset module (breathwork, soundscapes, and body-placement practices) is designed to support settling and focus as a spiritual practice. It is not medical advice, clinical therapy, or a substitute for professional mental health care. If you have a medical or mental health condition, consult a qualified healthcare provider before using any breath or settling practices.

9. AI Features Disclaimer

AI features in AnchoredTime are designed to assist - never to replace - your personal engagement with Scripture, prayer, and spiritual community. AI supports recall, structure, and clarity. It does not replace the Holy Spirit, pastoral wisdom, or human relationship.

AI-generated output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or contextually inappropriate. We do not warrant the accuracy of any AI output. You use AI features at your own discretion.

10. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal data and is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate these Terms at any time. You may terminate by deleting your account. We may terminate or suspend your access if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that is harmful to the Service or other users.

On termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Sections 5 (Content Ownership), 7 (Theological Disclaimer), 8 (Health Disclaimer), 12 (Limitation of Liability), and 13 (Governing Law) survive termination.

12. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

12.1 Warranty Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

12.2 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANCHORFUL, LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Anchorful, LLC and its officers, employees, and agents from any claim, liability, damage, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Texas, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email and in-app notice with at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
