Picking a plan

1. Go to /bible/plans. Browse the available plans. Each one shows the title, how many days it covers, and the default translation.
2. Tap a plan card to see a summary and a preview of the first few days. When you are ready, tap Start this plan. AnchoredTime enrolls you and sets your current day to Day 1.
3. You can only have one active plan at a time. If you want to switch, go to the plan you are currently on and tap Leave planbefore enrolling in a new one.

Following today’s passage

Once you are enrolled, your daily screen shows a reading checklist card below your Anchors. It displays the passage reference, the plan name, and which day you are on. Two actions are available:

• Open - launches the Bible Workbench with the passage pre-loaded and your preferred translation selected. Read, highlight, and annotate right there.
• Mark as read - tap the circle on the left to mark the day complete. AnchoredTime records it and advances your plan to the next day.

Marking days complete

Tapping the circle on the reading card is optimistic: the UI updates immediately so you are not waiting on a network call. If something goes wrong, the circle reverts and you can try again. The progress is saved to your account so it carries across devices.

Marking a day complete does not have to happen on the same calendar day. If you fall behind and catch up over a weekend, mark the days in any order - your progress is tracked by day number, not by calendar date.

Creating your own AI reading plan (Covenant)

Covenant members can generate a fully custom reading plan on any theme or topic. Open /bible/plans and tap Generate. Enter a theme (for example, "anxiety", "the Sermon on the Mount", or "faith in the dark"), choose how many days, and pick a translation. The Anchored Coach builds a day-by-day plan with real Scripture passages and a short title for each day. Review the plan, then tap Start this plan to enroll.

Generated plans are saved to your account and appear alongside the curated library on the same page. They work the same as curated plans: your daily screen shows today’s passage and you mark it complete after reading.

Why we built this into the daily screen

Consistent Scripture reading is one of the most powerful daily habits for anyone walking with Jesus. By placing the reading checklist on the same screen as your Anchors, prayer, and journal, we are trying to make the right thing the easy thing. You should not need to open a second app to know what you are reading today.
