2. How We Use Cookies
AnchoredTime uses a minimal set of cookies. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking cookies. The cookies we set fall into the following categories:
Essential / Strictly Necessary

Analytics (paid tier only, with consent)
On paid tiers, with your explicit consent, we may use anonymized analytics to understand feature usage. No advertising or cross-site tracking is involved. These cookies are only set after you provide consent.

3. No Third-Party Advertising Cookies
We do not place advertising cookies on your device. We do not share your browsing data with advertising networks. We do not engage in cross-site tracking.
Third-party scripts loaded by the Service (e.g., Stripe’s JavaScript for payment processing) may set their own cookies governed by their respective privacy policies. These are limited to the specific context in which they are loaded (e.g., the checkout flow) and do not follow you across the web.
4. Local Storage and Session Storage
In addition to cookies, the Service uses browser local storage and session storage to persist UI state (for example, whether you have dismissed a help tooltip, or the state of the Anchored Reset player). This data is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted to our servers.
5. How to Manage Cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Common browser controls:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data

Please note that blocking all cookies will prevent the Service from functioning correctly, as authentication requires session cookies.
You can also clear your existing cookie consent at any time by deleting AnchoredTime cookies and localStorage entries through your browser’s site-data controls (Chrome / Safari / Firefox all expose this under their privacy settings). On your next visit the consent banner will reappear, giving you a fresh opportunity to accept or decline.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when we change our use of cookies. The “Effective” date above will be updated. Material changes will be communicated via the in-app cookie consent banner.
